JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible
  • Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
  • Work in an assigned area, such as a dining room or lounge and pleasantly takes beverage orders form guests
  • Provide fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round
  • Present the beverage order to the bartender and writes check properly while waiting for the beverage to be prepared
  • Present the beverage to the guest
  • Present checks to the guest, accepts payment and gives change when necessary
  • Will utilize “server banking” to complete alcohol sales
  • Must work events in the Entertainment area as needed
  • Maintain a clean station at all times
  • Able to answer questions about Harrah’s facilities and services
  • Explain and encourage Total Reward participation
  • Provide fast, friendly service to customers
  • Upbeat personality for all interactions with guests and fellow employees
  • Must possess an outgoing personality and attitude to help create a fun, enthusiastic environment for guests
  • Acknowledge and respond to customers immediately
  • Learn and greet customers by name
  • Invoke service recovery as needed
  • Pick up trash, glasses, and litter in or out of work area
  • Keep errors to a minimum
  • Anticipate customers’ needs
  • Seek coaching to improve performance
  • Operate a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amount into the register and give a guest or server the correct change; accountable for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
  • Follow guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Board and/or NC ABC Commission
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Six months prior customer service experience preferred
  • CARE certified

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds constantly
  • Must have the ability to frequently reach above and below the shoulder, stand and walk for up to four hours
  • Must be able to possess the manual dexterity to grip necessary items (glasses, pens, garnishments, money, etc.)
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and twist when serving beverages
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
